CROSSTRAINING CIELOVERDE ... what is it?

The Cieloverde Camping Village was born in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma to allow families and young people to spend a relaxing and fun holiday surrounded by greenery and a stone's throw from the sea. A perfect combination to restore vigor, elasticity and clarity to the MIND, far from the urban chaos and daily stress.

Why not to the BODY?

Hence the idea of creating the largest outdoor gym in Tuscany dedicated to Cross Training, an innovative fitness system that includes a wide variety of exercises (Olympic weight lifting, gymnastics, kettlebell exercises and explosiveness exercises) with the aim of improving strength, power, speed, cardiorespiratory capacity, endurance as well as coordination, balance, agility, precision and, in general, all functional capacity.

Functional Training, Hyrox, Movement Flow, Weightlifting, they do some Cross Training a complete sport, a motivating training method and an excellent anti-stress, suitable for all those who want to test themselves and get back into shape.

New for 2024 – From June 24th to September 7th Crosstraining Cieloverde will be the official Hyrox Gym!

Hyrox courses will be available every day and every Saturday at 10:00, the Team Hyrox Relay, offering an exceptional opportunity to test your preparation in a competitive situation.

What is HYROX?

HYROX it's a fitness competition which merges running with functional exercises, creating a unique experience. This new way of doing fitness is structured in such a way as to test strength, speed, power and endurance through a series of well-defined challenges.

How does HYROX work?

HYROX is a circuit that consists of a 1km run followed by a functional fitness exercise, repeated 8 times. These exercises include movements such as burpees, sled pushes, and lunges, organized in 7 basic categories: Pull, Push, Squat, Lunge, Hinge, Rotation and GaitThe competition takes place through 8 training stations, based on functional fitness movements interspersed with running.

Is this a course open to everyone?

Our Box is suitable for anyone aged 14 and over with a basic level of fitness. The competition is designed to be accessible and safe, and all movements have been selected to challenge all aspects of humanity without requiring complicated training or technical skills. 

Necessary Requirements:

• Class reservation required.
• Running-Crosstraining shoes are mandatory (barefoot or in slippers you will not be allowed in the box)
• Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of the class.
• Minimum age: 14 years. 

HYROX offers a structured and measurable approach to competitive fitness, enabling athletes of all levels to challenge themselves and push their limits in a welcoming and motivating environment.
